Virum tailoring had the opportunity to be part of an extraordinary moment in the life of an emerging Neapolitan actor, Michele Rosiello. His role in the fiction “La Voce Che Hai Dentro” captured the attention of the public, but it is his humility, approachability and depth that make him truly special. Recently, Michele celebrated the most important day of his life, his wedding to the talented Neapolitan actress Denise Capezza, and Virum was happy to create a custom suit that perfectly represented the groom and their union.
Choosing the Color and Fabric
Attention to detail is what sets Virum apart, and creating Michele’s bespoke suit was an exciting process. Initially, a light-coloured suit was in keeping with the seaside location and the informal atmosphere envisaged for the wedding. However, after some discussion with Michele, we decided to go with a classic dark blue, using a prestigious Tasmanian super 140’s wool from the Holland and Sherry wool mill. The resulting suit is an elegant three-piece, with a jacket with peak lapels, welt pocket, double-breasted waistcoat and high-waisted trousers with a Neapolis waistband from the Iconic line. A white shirt with cufflinks and a pearl-coloured silk tie complete the ensemble.
Customizing the Head
Michele was always available and collaborative in every phase of the creation of her custom dress. Together, we customized the lining of the dress with a special design and a meaningful phrase, which will be an eternal memory of her wedding. These personalized details make each creation of Virum unique and special.
A touch of Tango
We also made a second vest for Michele, which he wore on the wedding night for a glamorous tango dance with Denise. This vest was also double-breasted but with shawl lapels and made from an off-white fabric by Holland and Sherry.
