Hello everyone, I am Filippo , one of the two owners of Virum, a contemporary Neapolitan tailoring shop that combines the timeless tradition of tailoring with a modern and fresh vision. Today I want to share with you my recent experience in Nigeria , where I had the opportunity to dress Nigerian clients, including local entrepreneurs and politicians from the capital, Abuja.

My trip lasted seven days , a very special experience from the moment I took the plane from Milan to Abuja. From the first moment, I felt a warm and genuine welcome from Nigerians. The hospitality I received was very much appreciated, with people who made an effort to make me feel at ease in their country.

One of the things I immediately noticed is how charismatic and connected Nigerians are to their territory. They have their own style, a mix of tradition and history, but at the same time they have shown a sincere appreciation for the Italian sartorial world. That's why Virum was welcomed with great enthusiasm.

For me, this trip was much more than a business opportunity . It was a professional growth experience, interacting with people of absolute importance in their country. I learned some aspects of the Nigerian culture , their traditions and their passion for fashion. I saw how our service of custom garments perfectly adapts to the needs of such a diverse and passionate clientele .

The main lesson I learned from this experience is that style is a universal language that can break down cultural and geographical barriers . No matter where we come from in the world, we all want to feel comfortable and confident with the way we dress. Virum is here to help people make this dream come true , whether they are Italian, Nigerian or from any other part of the world.

I look forward to returning to Nigeria to further satisfy the style desires of our Nigerian customers and continue sharing the passion for bespoke fashion. Virum is ready to continue her journey into the world of fashion, bringing with her the art of Italian tailoring and learning from the many cultures and traditions we encounter along the way. Thank you Nigeria, it was an honor to be here!
