When there are passions and interests that look in the same direction, exceptional synergies can only be born.
This is what happened with Marco Taddei , a well-known and esteemed blogger from the Marche region who has now moved to Milan, and who, like us at Virum, has made sartorial style his life mission.
On this basis, Marco and I have developed a friendship that brings us, every time we are in Milan, to meet to spend time together comparing our passion and what will happen in the future in this field.
Pitti 97 according to Marco Taddei
We met him at the last Pitti Uomo and, after discussing the theme and the novelties of Pitti97, we asked him what his opinion was on this now very renowned event and, above all, what had struck him most in this edition which presented the 2021 winter and men's collections:
“Pitti is certainly the most authoritative fair in the men’s sector. This is confirmed by the attendance figures and the provenance of visitors, even if this edition was at least initially penalised by the dates. The perception I had is that we are increasingly returning to formality, to cleanliness and that there are fewer and fewer stylistic forcings on offer. Perhaps we will return to appreciating a good tailored suit with classic and elegant lines, a hand-hemmed tie and a timeless style. The colours and volumes of the catwalks are banned; today the masculine style reigns - and wins”.
What we have done for Marco
Marco also wore, during the first day of Pitti, an outfit entirely conceived, studied and created together with us and with the precious collaboration of the fabrics signed Vitale Barberis Canonico .
A brown double-breasted Prince of Wales BeSpoke suit with British elegance.
The BeSpoke three-button, martingale coat in brown fishbone fabric.
BeSpoke striped shirt and floral pattern tie with chocolate suede penny loafers on his feet.
