So we put even more effort into the search for fine and refined fabrics, we introduced new products , we thought of creating a collection made of iconic garments that never go out of fashion and this is how Virum's Fall-Winter 2020-2021 was born.
Virum 20-21 is the story of a journey through time.
A journey that starts from the style of the icons of the 50s , crosses the golden age and ends in the modern concept of elegance and comfort.
But it is also a journey through the Nordic landscapes and the natural elements that characterise them, from which the colours and fabrics of our garments take inspiration.
Colors that draw from the pure white snow, the warm shades of the foliage, the imposing trees that inhabit them, the dark, winter skies.
Fabrics that, declined in a modern conception, transmit a sensation of innate warmth that can caress and protect you from the cold. For this winter, therefore, we have created a collection that speaks of naturalness without forgetting the concept of sartorial elegance.
The Iconic collection is back: our tailored trousers hand-sewn by our skilled Neapolitan tailors, now much loved by our customers, are enriched with new fabrics and colors. From wool and cashmere flannels to classic velvets, from dark greens to browns, passing through yellow ochre.
Even our Contemporary trousers, for the cosmopolitan gentleman who loves a more casual look, are embellished thanks to wool and cashmere flannels, valid allies for the rigid winter temperatures.
The MTO jackets with Neapolitan shoulder, customizable by contacting Customer service, bring back the vintage style of icons of the past but do not forget to represent the taste of the contemporary man. Cashmere and carded wool make them suitable to caress the body comfortably during the cold season.
We have introduced many new features: you can find a capsule of turtleneck sweaters in three yarns in wool, cashmere and viscose to enrich your informal outfits both indoors and outdoors by combining them with blazers, coats and classic trousers.
Also absolutely new are our leather jackets, strictly Made in Italy, sewn with the best leathers, which you will soon be able to purchase on our website.
And for accessories we have thought of belts : from simple ones to Texan-style ones in 100% leather, to complete your look with a high-quality accessory.
Like the ties that cannot be missing in the wardrobe of the modern gentleman and that for this 20-21 collection range from dandy style to vintage and ending with the formal one suitable for events or work environments.
In this time of limitations we will try to further enhance the remote tailor-made service , giving our customers the opportunity to build together with us a unique and personal product, which they have always wanted just like in a real tailor's shop. For the shooting of this collection we chose the Castelletto Aeclanum in Mirabella as the set, which blends well with the concept of class and eternal history of our collection.
